Preston Food Truck Park – Vegetarian Weekend!

This weekend is a special one for us ethically-minded food lovers in the North side of Melbourne–it's the Vegan/Vegetarian weekend at Preston Food Truck Park! One of those events that food lovers simply shouldn't miss.

We ventured out with a bunch of friends on opening night (last night, Friday 3rd June) and, despite the gloomy weather, had a really great time! There are at least 16 amazing food trucks serving up epic street food, and don't let the rain throw you off, bring an umberella and enjoy it all in the warmth of Preston Food Truck Park warehouse room, complete with big heaters and seating for the whole family (although I recommend you get there before the 7pm dinner rush to secure a spot).

The atmosphere was so happy and warming, ethically minded folk everywhere eating the most glorious and diverse meals. I must make a special mention to Woking Amazing for blowing our minds with their incredible Peking Duck Wrap, Sugar Cane Prawns and 'Dimmies' (Dim Sims). The Dimmies actually sold out rather early last night, we were lucky enough to order some just in time.

What are you waiting for! It's open right now, and you've only got TONIGHT left to experience this event. To read more about it, head to their facebook event: VEGO FOOD TRUCK EVENT
